Adarsha Koirala, PhD

Inventor of Mini-nucleosomes

Adarsha is the Founder and CEO of AAVINUE Inc. and the inventor of our core mini-nucleosome technology, a next-generation non-viral gene transfer platform designed to overcome the limitations of AAVs and LNPs. His industry career began at Biogen as a scientist involved in both research and business strategy. He later led gene therapy programs at Gemini Therapeutics, an Atlas Ventures company. Before founding AAVINUE, Adarsha was CEO of Summation Bio, where he successfully raised venture capital to advance the mini-nucleosome platform. He holds a PhD from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and completed postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School. Adarsha has authored 15+ publications and patents and is committed to delivering genetic therapies for diseases long considered untreatable.
